Film Review of Veer

Film Review of Veer

Acting :- A road less travelled for Salman , however here he is allowed to do what he does best i.e. anger n passion transformed into fighting sequence , a bit over the top but that’s Salman for you . Jareen did a good job for her debut , looked comfortable while sharing screen space with the likes of Sallu . Suprzingly our “oye’ dancing sensation of history Mithun takes care of whatever little acting in the movie . Rest are not even coming in the mind to mention.

Direction :- As the captain of the ship Anil Sharma failed to create the mass sensation like Gadar ( although I still wonder what that movie had ) , the movie is a desperate victim of Tornado that swirls while choosing between love and country.

Memorable Scene :- The scene where a character lift the entire horse on his back.

Memorable Dialogue :- By Salman " Jahan haath maarun 5 ser gosht nikal lun " , and he literally does that in a scene and ask to weigh it :)))

Baat jo hajam nahi hui :- A girl willing to go with a guy who just killed her brother
and about to kill her father.

Music :- "Mil jaa kahin samay se pare " & rajasthani folk makes up for good music the beautiful backdrop of 19th century London stays with you along the songs.

Reason to watch :- Must watch for die hards Salman's fan , others can wait for more sensible stuff.

Reason not to watch :- IF you are really expecting a mini Troy like war epic even then you will be disappointed by a mile , ye bollywood hai jaani :)

Verdict :- An average film , on a scale of 5 it gets 2 star , just for the larger than life sceneries and Salman's Passion , hope we really travel extra mile for story
if we really wanna get any close to hollywood. Only if Salman fans "Want" can make this movie a hit , only time will tell .

2 good movies are in queue "Ishqiya" and "Rann" next week , hope to get the fun weekends back with them , till then Ciaooooooo - Amit Nandwal
